What is perfectionism?
It's the belief that if we live perfect, look perfect, and act perfect, we can avoid the pain of blame, judgement, and shame. It also fuels anxiety and leaves us feel as if we are not enough in any part of our lives.
Perfectionism shows up in many different ways and has a particularly negative impact on health and our well-being. It is no doubt our perfectionism holds us back, keeps us from having new experiences and prevents us from focusing our energies on our life's purpose and the things we enjoy in our lives. However, there are ways to overcome perfectionism, no matter how tough things might be.🙌
